Simon cofounded Medical & Financial Ltd in 2006 and is now the sole director. With over 23 years in FCA-regulated financial consultancy, he specialises in independent financial planning for doctors and dentists, offering tailored advice on pensions, investments, and wealth management.
Simon began his career in the legal sector before moving into financial services in 1990 as a Britannia Building Society branch manager. He later joined Wesleyan Medical Sickness, working for seven years with medical and dental professionals and holding management roles focused on training and client support. In 2006, Simon co-founded Medical & Financial Ltd to deliver personalised, holistic financial guidance for healthcare professionals across the UK. He holds a BSc in Economics and the Dip PFS qualification, ensuring his advice meets the highest professional standards.

Tess Land
Accounts, Admin and Business Support Manager
Tess is a dedicated and highly organised IFA Accounts, Administration and Business Support Manager. She has worked in administration and as front of house for almost twenty years and has now been at Medical & Financial for ten years.
Known for her professionalism, efficiency, and friendly, proactive approach, Tess oversees the general administration of the company. She plays a vital role in supporting advisers and ensuring clients receive an exceptional, personal service. Tess manages client files, generates client reviews and letters, processes new business, and liaises with providers and clients to maintain smooth operations.
Alongside administrative work, Tess is Medical & Financial’s Accounts Manager and Compliance Supervisor. She also provides all-round business support; handling HR and general office management to ensure the office runs smoothly.
